Step 1: Alamin ang dami ng ulan ayon sa forecast. Puwede makita ang forecast ng ulan mula sa @Weather_Manila o kaya sa @dost_pagasa rainfall warning bulletins. Ang ulan sa may Talisay, Batangas ay umabot ng 437 millimeters sa loob ng 24 horas. Sobrang dami ng ulan na ito (see figure).

Step 2: Alamin kung may panganib na landslide (nakakulay na green o berde sa mapa). Kung may panganib na landslide at ang forecast ay malakas na ulan, bago ng kasagsagan ng ulan ay pansamantalang pumunta sa pinakamalapit na lugar na walang kulay o white sa hazard map (see figure).

Step 3: Alamin kung may panganib na baha (nakakulay na blue o azul sa mapa). Kung may panganib na baha at ang forecast ay malakas na ulan, bago ng kasagsagan ng ulan ay pansamantalang pumunta sa pinakamalapit na lugar na walang kulay o white sa hazard map (see figure).
