The Africa Forward Summit 2026 marks a defining moment for Kenya and the continent as Nairobi hosts one of the most significant Africa–France engagements on innovation, investment, and sustainable growth. Co-hosted by H.E. President William Ruto and H.E. President Emmanuel Macron, the summit will bring together Heads of State, global investors, business leaders, development partners, and innovators at the KICC on 11–12 May 2026.
Under the theme “Africa–France Partnerships for Innovation and Growth,” the summit will focus on strengthening economic cooperation through private capital mobilization, technology, infrastructure, rural transformation, and the blue economy. The event also reflects a new chapter in Africa–France relations, being the first summit of its kind hosted in an English-speaking African country.
Invest Kenya is proud to support this important platform that showcases Kenya as a leading destination for investment in Africa. Through strategic partnerships, policy reforms, and investor facilitation, Kenya continues to position itself as a gateway for global businesses seeking opportunities across the continent.

This local election result, converted to a general election, shows the Greens only winning 13 seats.
🔻Labour would suffer its biggest general election loss in history down -302.
⚠️The Lib Dems would only gain 8 seats.
A complete rejection of left wing British politics.
🇯🇪 🇬🇬 Happy Liberation Day my fellow Channel Islanders. Today's the #1 day in our calendar. On 9 May 1945, Guernsey & Jersey were liberated after 5 years of German occupation. I'm forever grateful for my relatives' courage & sacrifice: "Dieu et Mon Droit" (for God & My Right) #LiberationDay #LibDay2026
There is an escape route for Labour from certain disaster at the general election: use their Commons majority to ram through PR. It’s cynical, + they’d never govern alone again, but it locks Reform out of No10. The left (Lab, Gr, LD) still have a majority over the right in the UK
