One of the worst things we’ve become as Pakistanis is numb to injustice. We’ve gotten so used to it that we barely react anymore whether it’s stolen mandates, inflation or lack of freedom of speech. Sadly, a nation that stops reacting to injustice has no strong future.

PTI ko support krna or Imran Khan ko criticize krna dono possible hain. Lkn disagreement ko criminalize krna’ censor krna ya permanently exclude krna democracy nhi. Khan kl khatm bhi ho jaye to Pakistan ka democratic crisis khatm nhi hoga. The problem is bigger than one man.

Arabic is such a delicate language. For example, there is a huge difference between Qalb and Kalb. Qalb means heart and Kalb means an IDF soldier, and I think that's beautiful 🥰.
Now they kept us busy with an Imran Khan circus. Sometimes a bomb sometimes a war while the Defence Act quietly passed in the background. As always something was there to keep us distracted.
One thing about Pakistanis: we’ll complain endlessly about corruption' injustice and incompetence then defend it when it benefits us personally.
Maybe the problem isn’t always 'the system.'
