Also, to ask a man of Dangote's age (and longstanding remarriage abstinence, with no known significant other) if he's still planning to have sons is just diabolical.
My 1st work of non-fiction, Songs My Mother Taught Me: Why The Artist Must Take Sides - is out today wherever books are sold! I’ve never considered myself hiding behind poems, yet the straightforward prose and personal stories in this book have me feeling a bit naked lol.
Mired in debt and wounded by an insurgency spawned by Islamist militants, a security vacuum may emerge in Mozambique if Daniel Chapo does not quickly develop a strategy for ending the protracted, volatile conflict, @i_amten writes. https://t.co/Hrji5tFRe4
“As a liberation movement we can’t go to bed with apartheid collaborators and benefactors, no matter how desperate we can be. A coalition with the DA will be a final nail in our coffin.” A “senior ANC leader” is quoted as saying in The Sunday World. This senior leader is informing his voters that the liberation movement is in a coffin already. But the amnesia of this liberation movement is astounding. Just shy of three decades ago the liberation movement was in bed, not just with the collaborators and benefactors of apartheid, but with the inventors and implementers of apartheid. It was in a government on national unity with de Klerk’s National Party, and later co-opted the New National Party into their ranks, making the leader of that party, Marthinus van Schalkwyk, a cabinet minister for a few years. Where does this new-found “revolutionary” fervor come from? Delusions of grandeur from inside a coffin?

Nothing can justify targeting civilians.

Emmerson Mnangagwa knows what's wrong. He has, to his credit, recognised problem and tried to initiate processes to quell this anger in Matabeleland. But processes are led by his fanatics and cannot yield true healing. That sense of injustice multiplies with every generation
The timing of the Highlanders vs Dynamos match was not right. I don´t know why PSL did not see it coming. I hope no one was injured and everyone managed to get home safe.
