🚨 China’s Unitree Robotics has unveiled the GD-01, which they describe as the world’s first production-ready manned mecha robot.

The massive machine stands at 8 foot 8 inches tall, weighs over 1,100 pounds with a pilot inside, and can reportedly switch between two-legged and four-legged movement on command.

Unlike previous mecha concepts, the GD-01 is being introduced as a commercial product with a reported price tag of around $650,000.

The company has also advised users to operate the robot in a “friendly and safe manner”.
