Everywhere I go these days feels crowded.
Mumbai locals: packed.
Bangalore roads: jammed.
Cafes: full.
Temples: long queues.
Even hospitals for routine check-ups are overflowing.

@thecoalguy The government shouldn’t be in the business of running loss-making enterprises, but when there’s potential for sustainable profit and strategic value, its involvement can be justified. After all, why do public sector companies exist in the first place?
To regulate prices effectively, the government should either establish its own services or introduce appropriate legislation. In the case of Goa cabs, setting up a government-run cab service would create healthy competition and help bring prices to a more reasonable level.
