I literally can’t believe this is real
“I want you to give me one example of socialism you think working well somewhere”
Washington Rep Shaun Scott “I think of Cuba in particular”
Reporters response “People flee on makeshift rafts and die in the ocean to flee Cuba for the United States”
For two years, the Catholics of Gaza have faithfully attended Mass daily even as bombs rained down around them
Today they sing for joy as the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas takes hold

With the barrage of misinformation surrounding us today, read the Bible, the most reliable, life-transforming, joy-producing, and soul-searching truth available in our world.
Sin is powerful … but God.
Wickedness is prevalent … but God.
Evil is raging … but God.
Satan is active … but God.
Hatred is rampant … but God.
Hell is real … but God.
Our hope and joy depend on that glorious phrase, “But God!”
Ephesians 6:12.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Do not lose this frame of reference, beloved Saints.
We are seeing the effects of a wicked and perverse world which hates God. The demonic activity is off the charts, but we know from where it stems.
It’s as if we are speeding toward the dramatic conclusion of events foretold with 100% accuracy in scripture… and the whole world is rocking and reeling in anticipation for some fix, some answer or some person to make the suffering and anguish end. But it’s not that simple, is it?
There will NEVER be a natural solution to a spiritual problem.
JESUS is the only answer.
WOW!! Jonathan Greenblatt of ADL (@JGreenblattADL) takes down MSNBC's deep anti-Israel bias live on MSNBC.
He says what @mehdirhasan@AymanM@AliVelshi don't want you to hear: Barbarians gleefully committed rape and executions, and the American left needs to stop sanitizing it!
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. - 2 Kings 6:16-17
If you know Jesus…no matter how bad this worlds gets, it’s as close to Hell as you’ll ever be because Heaven is your home.
If you don’t know Jesus…no matter how bad this world gets, it’s as close to Heaven as you’ll ever be because Hell is your home.
Jesus makes the difference.
Psalm 125
1 Those who trust in the Lord
Are like Mount Zion,
Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the Lord surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.
3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest
On the land allotted to the righteous,
Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.
4 Do good, O Lord, to those who are good,
And to those who are upright in their hearts.
5 As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways,
The Lord shall lead them away
With the workers of iniquity.
Peace be upon Israel!
79% of psychiatrists recommend immediate treatment with an antidepressant to an outpatient with depression, but only 39% of psychiatrists would immediately take an antidepressant if they personally had depression, while 61% would prefer watchful waiting https://t.co/1dSaOifk2Q
Some people who want to reduce the toxicity of our divides may overcorrect and become intolerant of criticism itself. For example: we've seen some people who support this cause say things like, "Stop criticizing x/y/z: you're contributing to polarization."
But criticism is not the problem: humans have always judged and criticized each other, and always disagreed strongly on various current issues, and we always will. The problem is not that we disagree, or even that we disagree very strongly, but in how we disagree. We should attempt to make a distinction between disagreement (unavoidable) and disagreement that dehumanizes and insults (avoidable).
Put another way: Many of us are understandably frustrated and exhausted by the current environment we find ourselves in. But if we let that frustration make us overly intolerant to others' disagreement and criticism, our overly negative and angry responses may add to the toxicity of our divides.
A path to a healthier future lies in more of us disagreeing more civilly (being, as they say, "hard on ideas but soft on people") and also in more of us taking criticisms aimed at us or our group in stride and not letting such things overly agitate us (as much as we're able).
