@tonyannett@rojasrjuand These aren’t “Left positions.”They are medical decisions, based on the best available science and data, to avert negative effects of gender dysphoria among teens, such as depression, eating disorders, and suicide. They were politicized by a fascist movement.
So many questions remain. Why did police sit on this information for months? Why were city officials “not able” to notify the public? Are electeds okay with military operations taking place where their constituents sleep? If not, where are the lawsuits?

The site of the exercises, St. Luke’s Medical Center, shuttered since 2003, is now owned by entities controlled by Mehdi Bolour. Criminal charges were filed against him in 2018 after he was found to be operating a Hollywood building in unsafe conditions, displacing many.
Are local police governable?
Pasadena Police were told “months ago” about late-night military exercises that took place Wednesday in a residential neighborhood, yet elected city council members were notified by text only six minutes prior to the 5:30pm public announcement. 🧵
‼️CAUGHT ON CAMERA: US Military Conduct NIGHTTIME Raid Drill's Over Southern California Something BIG Is Coming 👀
While people are warning of “impending major events,” these videos show U.S. Special Forces (160th SOAR Night Stalkers) running heavy urban warfare drills across Southern California this week.
Low-flying helicopters with lights at night, troops moving on the ground, simulated gunfire and explosions in Long Beach (near the old Golden Sails Hotel) and Pasadena (former St. Luke Medical Center area).
Officially it’s “planned training.” But why multiple cities at the same time? Why such realistic urban combat scenarios with explosions and low-level night flights?
And why did the notices to residents come so late that it caused widespread panic and speculation?
This doesn’t look like standard weekend drills.
What do you think is really going on?

@standyro@FilmThePoliceLA To counter the fact that Nithya bailed on addressing LAPD violence, your post contains assumptions that seem to amount to resignation that the LAPD can’t be governed. With that attitude, Nithya is indeed the candidate for you.
For the record: Angelenos have nearly unseated @JimmyGomezCA every election since he was sworn in.
He has accepted millions from AIPAC. He is one of five House Democrats that Big AI — “Leading the Future” — has pledged to support with $125M. He was Eric Swalwell’s campaign chair and is now under investigation too for sexual misconduct. We're done.
And those within the Democratic Party that have allowed this inappropriate, unacceptable, and just absolutely embarrassing behavior — to say the least — would be wise to stay out of my way. Los Angeles deserves better and we will not accept this abuse of power anymore.
Thank you @justicedems & @CA_WFP for backing me.
@StopAntisemites When I see folks wearing a Star of David necklace, I don’t make assumptions they are pro-Israel or pro-genocide. Or, under your approach, you think that I should? What is wrong with you?
Nithya is behind, fighting for second place vs. Spencer Pratt because she entered the race last minute and hasn’t articulated a plan to transform LA. She’s so establishment that she endorsed Bass for Mayor, and even called her “the most progressive mayor” LA has ever had.
@_KennyUong_@orenbj Some TAP readers in the back work, and others don’t. Some drivers will open the back door(s), and others won’t. All-door boarding still doesn’t appear to be official, and questions to @metrolosangeles about it get nowhere. https://t.co/O8KU5PqXXQ
