@RepGuthrie@SecRubio@TXRandy14 Thank you so much for your support @RepGuthrie. The Iranian people are showing tremendous bravery in this fight for freedom.
It’s important we continue to support the people’s desire for democracy and honor those who have lost their lives at the hands of this tyrannical regime.
This week, I joined a bipartisan group of dozens of my colleagues in sending a letter to @SecRubio, encouraging the Trump Administration to carry out a foreign policy that supports the Iranian people in their struggle against the violent, authoritarian Iranian regime.
Thank you for reaffirming with this letter, the Iranian people's struggle for a representative republic where ballot box would serve as the measure of legitimacy for leadership, not hereditary ties or self-anointment of any kind. @SecRubio@RepBrianMast@HouseForeignGOP@HouseForeign@POTUS

Dec 1, 2025: Under the leadership of @ZoeLofgren, a strong bipartisan letter to @SecRubio and the @StateDept states:
“This is a decisive moment for the United States to send a unified message: we will not remain silent while an authoritarian regime executes its citizens, including women, youth, and political prisoners, following sham trials and coerced confessions at a rate exceeding 1,000 per year.”
Thank you, Congresswoman Lofgren, for your leadership.

Update | Qezel Hesar Hunger Strike
On the 7th day of the hunger strike by 1,500 death-row prisoners, families of those facing execution gathered outside Iran’s parliament chanting “No to Execution.”
Security forces attacked them with batons and blocked all access routes.
Six inmates taken to solitary for execution were returned to Unit 2 of Qezel Hesar after officials promised a temporary halt to executions and a review of the death penalty law.
Prisoners ended their week-long hunger strike, vowing to join the nationwide “Tuesdays No to Execution” campaign and warned:
“We warn that if executions resume, we will restart our protest with greater intensity.”
