Rs. 8 Lakh is the criteria to decide both EWS and OBC Creamy Layer. 8 Lakh is the upper limit to get the reservation under OBC category or EWS. If your income is above 8 Lakh, you are not entitled for reservation. It is same for both OBC and EWS.

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?

Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?

Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?

This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.

Vivek Agarwal's father, 80-year-old Radheshyam Agarwal, who had been admitted to Max and for whose care the entire family was staying at the hotel, also died today due to his medical conditions.

Till his last breath, he kept asking about the absence of his family members at the hospital, who had been regularly visiting him until 03 June 2026. The hospital staff did not tell him what had happened to them.

With his death, the Agarwal family has come to an end. Not a single member is left. What a tragedy!

@theskindoctor13 This number would be higher once rural gets 24 hrs electricity. As the subsidy is available only on the ongrid installation, it doesn't become popular in villages as the Rooftop Solar Pannel would be useless for 6-8 hrs a day, and the users would still require a battery setup.

@SandaliJain25 If the death has occurred at a Hospital, you need not to do anything, hospital will inform the authority and the Certificate would be issued. However, in case of death at home, you have to apply within 1 month, this receipt and affidavit/ declaration of applicant would suffice.

@Shuk_law_ Also, Anticipatory bail is required when there is apprehension of arrest. But there would be no such apprehension as the Police is not involved and there exists no FIR. If only summons or BWs are there, you would be basically entitled for bail.

@Shuk_law_ But generally in such serious offences, primary prayer is for registration of FIR. If the magistrate doesn't direct for it and entertain it as Complaint Case, then he would generally grant the Bail on the first date.

@sone_do_mujhe Indeed! It was as good as a professional advocate. Other Sr. Adv had very little to add, even there were certain grounds which other Sr. Advs restrained to address like her personal bias, and hurry and haste shown in this case.
