💸 I am committed to restoring the Workforce Investment Fund in the budget to make sure our firefighters get the pay raises they deserve.

🧑‍🚒 We must also pass my Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP) Amendment Act, which allows retirement-eligible first responders to continue to work for up to three years while collecting supplemental payments.

🏠 We must make sure our firefighters can afford to live in the District, and that means making housing more affordable. My HOMES Act will help build more new housing and expand homeownership across DC.
