@JulianRoepcke Let me guess you had nothing to say in 2010 when the US had 2 goals disallowed from bad calls in 2 games (and still won its group) and the World Cup wasnt over for you when England had a clear goal disallowed at a crucial time against Germany?
@HeidiBachram Spain expelling Sephardic Jews was one of the biggest own goals in Western European history. The Dutch should put up statues of Torquemada for all the talent and wealth he leaked to them
@Geo_papic Well said. 2002 was ridiculous and the onset of exposing the corruption of FIFA, UEFA, and all the tinpot federations on the take. And the US was on the receiving end in 2010 having two disallowed goals in two different games.
@UEFA It’s not unprecedented and it wasn’t a red card. Was accidental follow through on a legitimate challenge, accentuated by play acting by the defender. Maybe UEFA should sit this one out after all the corruption that ran riot under Platini for a decade
@Hbounassif A lot easier said than done when Lebanon was in the middle of a 15-year Civil War. And tough for it to stick when Haig was out a month later at State
@brian_callaci Was also sort of amazing when European politicians blamed Hurricane Katrina on climate change but not faulty levees or evacuation protocols
@MikeFritzell This guy went off the deep end a while ago. Views became fixed, trade ideas not actionable, and became a perma bear sensationalist. Had very good calls at Barrons Roundtable in the 00s
@gideonrachman Brits always bring world-class whinging. Complain about hydration breaks, now complaining about heat. Teams played in this heat in Spain in 82, Mexico in 86, and US in 94 and none of those tournaments were ruined
