His exceptional skills eventually led him to the elite National Security Guard (NSG), where he took command of the highly d*ngerous Bomb Disposal Squad.

On the freezing morning of January 1, 2016, absolute chaos erupted when a heavily armed group of t@rrorists disguised in Army uniforms infiltrated the highly secure Pathankot Air Force Station. After a brutal, 15-hour f!refight by security forces neutralized the immediate threat, the base was left as a d*adly minefield filled with unexploded gr*nades and hidden IEDs.

The following morning, Lt Col Niranjan led his elite team into the red zone to execute complex Render Safe Procedures. Operating in dense vegetation where every step could mean instant d*ath, he completely refused to let his men take the primary risks. Leading from the absolute front, he masterfully and fearlessly neutralized complex booby traps on two d*ad t@rrorists.

Displaying utter disregard for his own safety, he relentlessly pressed on to sanitize the area. Suddenly, a concealed, highly sophisticated booby trap was triggered. In a split-second act of supreme selflessness, Lt Col Niranjan took the brunt of the devastating blast, absorbing the f@tal splinters with his own body to act as a human shield for his comrades behind him.

Tragically, the fearless commander succumbed to his devastating injuries. Leaving behind his proud parents, his wife Dr. Radhika, and his infant daughter Vismaya, the 34-year-old warrior traded his tomorrow so the nation could sleep securely.

For his terrifying professional composure, indomitable spirit, and supreme sacrifice, Lieutenant Colonel Niranjan EK was posthumously awarded the prestigious **Shaurya Chakra**.

He proved that the true armor of an NSG Black Cat Commando is his unbreakable courage. Salute the immortal legend. Jai Hind! 🫡🇮🇳

🚨 FACT CHECK: Prakash Raj’s Voter-Deletion Claim Falls Flat!

Actor Prakash Raj alleged that his name was deleted from the electoral roll during the SIR exercise.

But the official clarification from Bengaluru Central City Corporation tells a different story.

✅ His name was on the electoral roll when the data was frozen for SIR.

✅ BLO verification found that he had shifted from his registered address, where he reportedly had not been residing for the past four years.

✅ Prakash Raj himself reportedly confirmed to officials that he no longer lives at that address and has shifted to another location within Shanthinagar constituency.

✅ Officials clarified that he can register/update his voter details at his current residence through Form 6.

The civic body says the allegations in the circulating video were “verified and found not true.”

Before accusing the Election Commission of deleting votes, shouldn’t public figures first verify the facts and ensure their own electoral details are updated?

Facts matter. Electoral rolls cannot be maintained on outdated residential addresses.
