It's tragic that no one teaches you the response to a sense of loss. So either you accept it to an extent, or resist and run away from it.
As a personal rule of thumb: if most of your recent responses have been fine, you'll do okay. Until one day. And that's natural.

@sakshi_thinks We should learn early in life - about randomness, probability & unsettling factors out of control. But that goes straight against the need to be deserving proportional to the efforts, taught from childhood. Complacent if we think otherwise, and incompetent if achieve any less.
