Israel and Iran ceasefire is confirmed. Oil prices dropped 3.37% the moment the announcement landed. US oil is now $81 back to how much it was before the war.
Dangote processes Nigerian crude priced in naira. The war gave him no reason to reduce prices on the way up. Now that crude is falling, we are watching to see if prices follow.
Because in this country prices go up like a rocket and come down like a feather.
The war is over Aliko. The ball is in your court.
@_AsiwajuLerry Liam Rosenior ๐ฃ๏ธ โIf I go and attack the game, press really high, and we concede two early goals, everyone asks, โWhatโs he doing?โ Thatโs the reality of this job If you lose, youโre criticised. If you win, youโre a geniusโ
NG Twitter is nothing like Abroad Twitter, and that difference hurts.
On Abroad Twitter, talent is recognized. A small account with less than 100 followers can tweet something amazing and suddenly big accounts, influencers, even celebrities are engaging, quoting, and giving credit without hesitation. No pride. No insecurity. Just people lifting people.
But on NG Twitter? The case is reversed.
A small account can pour their heart into a tweet, post something original and powerful, and instead of support, influencers screenshot it. They repost it on their own timelines like it was theirs. Some donโt even bother changing a word. All just to deny the original creator the visibility, engagement, and growth they desperately need.
These same influencers expect everyone to engage their posts, hype them, help them grow but when itโs time to return the love, especially to smaller accounts, they suddenly go blind.
Thatโs why NG Twitter feels less like a community and more like a hierarchy. The big accounts eat, the small ones starve.
Honestly, thereโs barely any difference between some NG Twitter influencers and Nigerian politicians:
selfish, greedy with power, and completely uninterested in lifting others.
And thatโs the sad truth.

Estevao creating a good shooting angle and shifting the goalie to one side by drifting wide is some basic understanding but takes lots of composure and confidence to do it when pressured
Liam Rosenior on change of formation:

Sadio Manรฉ is the hero of this AFCON final. Not just for what he did with the ball, but for the maturity he showed in what felt like an open festival of bias against clubs facing the host country. Had Senegal insisted on boycotting the match, a ban would almost certainly have followed. It might have been a costly stand, but also a powerful sacrifice for the sanity of future AFCON tournaments, one that would have cast a long shadow over Moroccoโs claim to first place, even a hundred years from now. Still, returning to the pitch was the wiser choice. They stayed, they endured, and they fought like the lions they call themselves. Congratulations, Senegal! ๐ธ๐ณ
๐ณ๐ฌ๐๐ฝ Huge appreciation to Eric Chelle for leading the Super Eagles with calm, courage and elite tactical clarity throughout #AFCON2025.
