“ You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming.”
Pablo Neruda

Under bridges in China, no drug addicts, no gangsters and homelessnss. People dance and do evening strolls.
When the society is safe, this happens naturally.
You go to a shop, a restaurant, or interact with Chinese people anywhere or sit in a cab and the moment the know you are a Pakistani, they'll be so kind to you and call you a "brother" and a "good friend". Getting this respect and love as a Pakistani feels good.
I've been in China for 3 years now and I just wanna say the love & respect we get from Chinese people especially from the elders is just awesome. They are very good to us and call us “巴铁” which means " Pakistan, our iron brother". It just feels so good as an overseas Pakistani!
Dr Sahira Jabeen explains why using ChatGPT isn't the same as teaching AI, and why faculty training must come first.
It addresses an important issue that is faced by the world in general and HEC (Pakistan) in particular. Knowing how to use ChatGPT or any other AI tool/model
HEC just made AI courses mandatory for all undergrads in Pakistan. But there's a massive gap: Who will teach it? 🤖🇵🇰

doesn't at all mean knowing the AI tool/model itself and how to teach it. These are two different things. It is high time that HEC should consider and address this issue as we cannot escape AI at all. We need to understand it, know it, know how to use it, know how to teach it,

I reflected on a question: at what point does human suffering become important enough for the world to care?
After a certain age, your parents slowly become your children. They ask simple questions, repeat stories, and rely on your patience the way you once depended on theirs. Very few understand this role reversal. What seems like innocence or inconvenience is really time coming full circle. Do not correct them harshly. Do not rush them. Care for them the way they once protected you. This is not a burden. It is repayment, quietly wrapped as love.
My all-time favorite books:
Bertrand Russell's "Why I Am Not a Christian"
Albert Camus' "The Rebel"
