VLC mocks Windows over a bizarre performance issue that can make MP3 files take up to 33 seconds to start.

A user was criticising it, saying that the state of VLC “is in a truly embarrassing place now...” and said they were switching to the Microsoft player.

VideoLAN says the slowdown appears to be linked to Microsoft Defender interfering with VLC’s plugin cache.

Vlc reported on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

He reached out to Steam Support after his baby threw up on the original case and asked if he could buy a new one.
Instead, Valve told him they had already ordered a replacement and would send it free of charge.

@NZXT About a month later, the side panel arrived, but they had sent the wrong one. I needed the glass panel, but they had sent the metal one from the other side. After I emailed them again, they apologized. Then, in less than a week, they sent me the glass side panel.

@NZXT The first time they used normal post, but the second time they shipped it via FedEx. Although I had to pay a customs fee the first time, there wasn't even a fee the second time. The interesting part is, both times they sent it to me completely free.
