Turned to a Real Quest
Working on the boring layer of the agent economy.
Identity is solved enough. Payments are getting solved. Verification and escrow are not.
Shipping that. Solidity. Foundry. Public.
If you're building on 8004 / x402 / agent escrow, talk to me.
@Web3Bridge Quoniam per tot annos libere dedistis et olim spem mihi praebuistis, centuplum accipiatis et vires ad plura facienda. Felicem anniversarium!
Web3Bridge will be 7 in two days! ❤️
If you’ve ever been part of our journey, attended a cohort, joined an event, learned something from us, or simply watched us grow from afar….
If you had ONE thing to tell us, what would it be? 👇

Over $300K in withdrawals. I did take profit.
Check yours to revive some old memories of your biggest withdrawal at a time😂
You will be shocked how fast you can remember what you did with your biggest withdrawals.
What is the biggest amount you have made in web3?
How much motion does your wallet have?
I built a simple tool just for that
Just paste your wallet address [Evm or Solana]
No need to connect wallet!

Inaction sickens me. Sitting online doing nothing about a situation. prepared for nothing, achieving nothing, complaining about everything, it's all sickening to me, the potential is there but it's thrown awav, the tools are there, but thev're left ignored, if you're a coward on your own then build a team, if you feel lost, then seek guidance, if you stumble on your mission, then get back up, if you fail then learn and strike again. Excuses rot the will, hesitation is a thief of years. The world does not wait for the unready, it simply moves on, and the chance vou waste today will be claimed by someone bolder tomorrow. As a community we have no excuse, we are billions, millions or thousands. we should be able to easily handle a problem with one phone call but instead it's dog eat dog and fragmented tribal mentality, threats find their way through the cracks and take advantage of our situation. We could achieve both the sun and the moon if only the people were willing to reach for the stars.
People have been referring to the Tweets about pacing AI frontier and how the Big Tech corps are not doing so. But when you look closely, the phrase was about the leading edge, not a shipping ban.
Pacing the frontier was never a promise to stop releasing models. Amodei said that in the essay itself: pacing “does not mean halting model training or technical progress,” but taking enough time to align and safeguard models, and letting outsiders check that the time is actually being used.
That is why the September releases made by the different corps do not contradict the posts, even though they make the slowdown talk look hollow.
The thing being slowed is the rate at which the best models get more capable, not the act of shipping. The extra time is meant for alignment, interpretability, evaluations, and operational controls. The only step any lab actually committed to on 12 September was embedded evaluators: a third party such as METR with permanent, employee-level access, so safety claims can be checked during training, not just after a launch. Step two was labs in democratic countries coordinating on shared standards and limits on unchecked progress, which needs government cover because of antitrust. Step three was some deal that includes China. A full pause was described as the hardest and least likely end of that ladder, not the plan.
Releasing a model is a product decision.
A lab can ship a cheaper model, a faster model, a voice model, or a small step up inside an existing tier without moving the capability ceiling.
That is most of what followed the posts: Claude Opus 5.5 as Fable-level work for less money, GPT-6 Sol and Luna as price cuts, Sonnet 5.5 as a faster Sonnet, Gemini 3.8 Live and Flash TTS as product variants, Grok 4.7 as another Grok 4 update, GPT-6.1 Sol as near-Astra performance at about a fifth of the price. Those are releases. They are not, by Amodei’s definition, a failure to halt.
The gap is between the impression and the commitment. “Slow down” and “pace the frontier” sound like the calendar should stop. The text only committed the labs to oversight and to not racing the ceiling unchecked. Training could continue. Shipping could continue. Musk also said a day later that peer review was the place to start, and on 24 September that xAI would keep accelerating relative to older labs.
OpenAI had already paused some frontier reinforcement-learning runs in August, then still shipped Sol, Luna, and GPT-6.1 Sol. The one clear non-release was GPT-6.1 Astra, which OpenAI scrapped after internal tests, not because of the joint posts.
So the practical difference is this: pacing, as written, constrains how fast the frontier moves and who gets to watch. It does not constrain how many models get released below or beside that frontier. The 15–29 September calendar is what that distinction looks like in practice.
Yesterday while this post was made, I was overwhelmed with calls and messages from friends, alumni and community members who appreciated what we have achieved with Web3bridge and were also concerned that we are closing up.
It was a beautiful moment reading comments and hearing people tell us the impact of the work we have done in the last 7years.
May 2025, we had a meeting in the office to critical assess the state of the ecosystem and how well we will position ourself cos it at the time it was glaring that a change was coming.
Over the last 3months, we became more critical about what comes next and we began consulting and bouncing off the ideas.
We have and still speaking with a list of partners, mentors, infrastructure providers, those in the investment circle (VCs, angels, accelerators) both in the continent and outside.
Starting Web3bridge didn't come with as much fear I had since we began the journey to pivot into the founder direction (took a whole time before selling the vision to the team).
We are ready to take this new path and we will be open to walk the path with you! Yes you; startup founder (in and out of blockchain), resource persons, infrastructure provider/those who's business is dependent on other founders and those who scout or write checks.
Reach out, let's journey together
Really wish there was a Documentary, on the life of Richard Feynman.
Yes, I know the novel "Surely You're Joking, Mr Feynman! " did justice, but I would love a video on it too.
Thinking of using AI, feeding it the novel, and ask it repoduce as a movie, but that will be a whole lot of cost I can afford now.
Asking for a thought on the matter @netflix@Nollywood or any other interested personnel, even @elonmusk
We are sad to announce that Web3Bridge has closed up shop.
For the past seven years, Web3Bridge has dedicated itself to training developers from different parts of Africa. It has been an incredible journey for all of us. We have watched people walk through our doors with little more than curiosity and leave as developers, builders, founders and contributors to an ecosystem that was still finding its feet.
But over the years, we have also seen something else.
We have seen the ecosystem change. We have seen the needs of our community change. And we have had to ask ourselves a very important question:
Is training developers enough anymore?
So, as we cross into our seventh year, we have decided to….. stay tuned.
