During the CJP protest, our business came down to 10%, and we were trying to recover from that when this protest by the INDIA bloc, followed by the CJP, ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ started. We have reached our crescendo... We have to pay our rentals, staff, property tax... With these things happening, we are incurring heavy losses... These protests turned out to be violent, so customers avoided coming to CP. Connaught Place is a commerical center; go and protest at the designated place. Why are you protesting here?... It is a very important hub for traffic coming from the North to the South... We have sent a request signed by all the traders in our area to the Prime Minister, to HM, commisisoner police, LG, and everyone... We decided to make a representation asking them not to allow any protests here. I have been told today that the Supreme Court has taken notice of it..."
