Kerala Education Board: કેરળ સરકારે એક નવી પહેલ કરતાં પાઠ્યપુસ્તકોમાં લિંગ સમાનતા દર્શાવવાનો પ્રશંસનીય પ્રયાસ કર્યો છે. 'ટીચ ધેમ અર્લી' એટલે કે બાળકોને વહેલા જ શીખવો કે કોઈ કામ પુરુષ કે સ્ત્રીનું અથવા નાનું કે મોટું નથી હોતું. આ પ્રકારનાં ઉમદા ઉદ્દેશ્ય સાથે આ પ્રયાસ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. નવા પાઠ્ય પુસ્તકોમાં દર્શાવ્યા પ્રમાણે પરિવારજનો સાથે મળીને ઘરકામ કરતાં દર્શાવાયા છે. કેરળનાં શિક્ષણ મંત્રીએ અગાઉ ફેસબુકમાં ધોરણ 3નાં મલયાલમ મધ્યમનાં પાઠ્યપુસ્તકનો ફોટો શેર કરીને આ વિગતો આપી હતી.
