Israeli analyst Shaiel Ben Ephraim revealed that some guards at Sde Teiman prison have admitted that colleagues used dogs in sexual assaults against Palestinian detainees.

Ben Ephraim said he spoke with two guards at the facility about these practices, noting that the issue had been raised on more than one occasion.

According to his account, one of the guards confirmed that he had witnessed a similar incident but refused to discuss the details due to its horrific nature.

He also referred to testimonies published by human rights organizations, including the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, where a detainee reported being subjected to degrading abuse during detention, including being stripped of his clothes and the use of dogs in his torture, which caused him severe psychological trauma.
