Vous avez sans doute un pote avec qui vous êtes capable de débattre des heures au téléphone sur des sujets qui vous passionnent ! Pour nous, c'est la tech et les startups.
Used as capital. The model is the product. Compute is the asset. And assets are where the real money has always been made.

The already historic SpaceX IPO is happening today! But there's a piece of the story most people are missing. A rocket company is now one of the world's largest GPU capacity lessors.
- NVIDIA Blackwell prices surged 48% in 60 days. Compute is following the same financialization arc as oil, electricity, and bandwidth. Priced. Traded. Contracted. Collateralized.

A couple of weeks ago, Sam Altman made a curious investment offer to the latest YC batch startups.
He offered $2 millions in OpenAI tokens in exchange for equity to 169 startups. Most people read this as a clever lock-in play. I read it differently.
Compute is being priced, traded, contracted, collateralized, and used as capital. All at once. Faster than any commodity before it.
I wrote about what this means: for builders, for the agents' economy, and for who actually wins when compute becomes money.
And it's Visa building it, not a startup, not a crypto project. The largest payment network in the world just decided the agent economy is real enough to build infrastructure for.
Writing more on this soon.
Visa just shipped something quietly radical.
Visa CLI is a command-line tool that lets AI agents discover APIs, negotiate access, and pay for them autonomously.
"The $500 Family Office" argued that agents would route around consumer apps and talk directly to underlying rails. "The Agentic Firm" argued that transaction costs are collapsing toward zero.
Visa CLI is the checkout counter for that economy.
That was the price of friction. The friction is disappearing.
A 3-person company with 50 agents now has the output of a 50-person company at a fraction of the cost.
I wrote about what happens next and what breaks in my latest Default State essay.

Nobody ever asks why companies exist. We just assume they do.
But in 1937, an economist named Ronald Coase answered the question and his answer explains why your company has 50 employees instead of 5.
That's what agents are doing. Not slowly, the way the internet or SaaS did, but simultaneously, across every category of friction at once.
The result: the 50-person company contracts to its core. The 40 people who were searching, coordinating, relaying, and managing?
