“Imran Khan's sisters arrested and detained and security forces seizing ministers in broad daylight.
The arrests come a week before a planned protest march by Khan’s PTI party.”

Deeply concerning to see Aleema Khan, sister of jailed former PM Imran Khan, arrested and detained for 30 days under the Maintenance of Public Order law — days before PTI’s planned Sept 27 protest.
I interviewed her in December about her brother’s imprisonment.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) early Monday morning alleged that two more sisters of party founder Imran Khan, along with their children, were arrested by Punjab Police.
The allegations came after Aleema Khan was detained by authorities in Lahore under Section 3 of the Punjab Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) Ordinance, 1960, and transferred to Kot Lakhpat Jail for 30 days.
PTI Central Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram said the family members had been placed in an armoured vehicle and were being taken to an undisclosed location.
“Punjab Police have arrested both sisters of Imran Khan, along with their children and the sons of Aleema Khan. They have been placed in an armoured vehicle and are being taken to an unknown location,” Akram said in a post on X early Monday.
🚨🇵🇰 Videos just dropped of police raiding the homes of Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders (Khan party) in Sialkot.
What is this madness?
WTF is happening in Pakistan and why is nobody saying anything?

BREAKING: Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, has been detained by Lahore Police under Section 3 of the MPO.
She was reportedly taken into custody by Lytton Road Police after leaving her Upper Mall residence for the gym. Following a police request, the Lahore DC issued her detention order under 3-MPO. She has now been shifted to Kot Lakhpat Jail.
🇵🇰 INCREDIBLE STUFF!
Pakistan is sealing roads into Islamabad with shipping containers, some seemingly fitted with ROWS OF METAL SPIKES
ahead of Imran Khan’s PTI march on September 27
Authorities have already detained Khan’s sisters under public-order laws, arrested PTI figures and deployed extra security as the government vows to stop the march.
The awkward part for Washington is who sits atop Pakistan’s security system: Field Marshal Asim Munir, whom Trump has repeatedly praised as his “favorite field marshal,” while U.S.-Pakistan military cooperation has been warming again, including a proposed $686 million F-16 upgrade package.
That image is brutal:
American military cooperation on one side.
Shipping containers with spikes pointed at protesters on the other.

@abierkhatib She certainly on a payroll of the lobby, avoiding direct answers to straightforward questions. In the video, she repeatedly evades rather than responds clearly, she is following a prepared script and promoting a false narrative.
