Mr Macaroni has questionable character. Is he generous, yes, but his integrity is shaky. The first award I did ever attend, I did meet Mr. Macaroni, and he was very polite, and welcoming.

Now here's the problem, he is a hypocrite and has been caught lying; And these are the parts people choose to ignore. Tacha once lied about meeting Mr. Macaroni for the first time, which was an obvious lie because I saw them exchanging pleasantries weeks before she ran into him again, and he (Macaroni) encouraged the obvious lie by not correcting her. That speaks volumes. As a matter of fact, I was attacked for calling out the bvllshit.

On the hypocrisy part, he was very quick to call-out the APC's incompetence and that of most opposition parties, however, the day Peter Obi's faced serious backlash from Obidients, Macaroni stayed mute despite being active. As a matter of fact, he almost never critiques Obi's questionable even before 2026.

The act of generosity should be just as important as his integrity. No offense.

Interestingly, it worked for Tinubu too,
no debate, no drama, just victory at the polls.

Over time, I’ve come to realise that smooth or fine words alone are not what define integrity. And in this part of the world, I’m not sure debates are the ultimate measure of someone’s ability. After all, how many elections have debates actually won?

That’s not to say Oriyomi isn’t ready for a debate. He’s a broadcaster, after all, so I wouldn’t count him out. I think this app sometimes gives him less credit than he deserves, but whatever is said here doesn’t define who he is.

At the end of the day, when the time comes, people will make their choice based on what matters to them not just the finest words, but also actions, consistency, and track record.
