SNBS participated in the National Evaluation Capacities (NEC) Conference in Beijing under the theme "Responsive Evaluations for Government, Inclusion, and the Future." This global event, organized in partnership with UNDP Independent Evaluation Office and World Bankโs Global Evaluation Initiative, & hosted by the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), brought together over 500 experts from the public sector, academia, and international organizations to discuss the critical role of data and evaluations in decision-making.
SNBS highlighted #Somalia's rapid progress in producing quality data for informed decision-making, particularly in preparation for the 2025 Voluntary National Review (VNR) on the Sustainable Development Goals. The conference provided an invaluable opportunity to engage with global experts and peers on data-driven evaluations, promoting enriching discussions on the future of data and its impact on governance.
