Christmas on the Square is a celebration of community life, light, and love. Last week's Russell County Community Christmas Tree Lighting was such a beautiful moment as we gathered together to sing and celebrate with family and friends.

The Kentucky Football Coaches Association voted Coach Jim Matney as 4A District 8 Coach of the Year. We appreciate and recognize all that Coach Matney contributed to our community, athletics, and the state of Kentucky. An honor well deserved from the KFCA.

I am completely stunned and heartbroken to hear the news of Jamie Kennedy. Students, players, fellow coaches and teaching staff loved him.

Johnson County, Lewis County and Greenup County have lost big piece of their heart! We love you Coach K! Rest In Peace my friend.
