I was in my 300L, just sitting down and checking my phone, wondering who I could ask for food money.

I didn't even have a dime in my account.
You know that moment when you've already asked most of the people on your contact list for help, and you just can't bring yourself to disturb them again?

One of my roommates told me he got a tract from a school fellowship. They were having a hangout on campus, and he asked if we could go.

I didn't even think twice. I got ready and followed him. Truth be told, my main intention for going was to eat.

There was a man of God they had invited to speak. While he was praying, he mentioned my name and said, "You came here with the intention of just eating, but God is about to change your story because He also told me that you need your school fees paid."

Omo! I burst into tears immediately I heard that prophecy. Even my roommate was speechless and just stared in disbelief.

What made the experience even more overwhelming was that my roommate wasn't a member of the fellowship.

Someone had gave him a tract on campus, collected his phone number and followed up on him to attend.

If he had been a member of the fellowship, I would have thought he told them about my situation.

That was where my journey with God truly began.
