I like posting on X. I think it's fun to share ideas.
However, my December sales were low, and I don't like it. Seems like I need to step back for a little bit (again) and only do the essentials.
Just trying to find that balance.
There’s never a 'perfect time' to publish your first book. Start now and learn as you go. The market doesn’t wait for perfection—it rewards persistence.
Here's my simplified workflow for publishing low-content books.
1️⃣ Research demand (Amazon and Publisher Rocket. Hopefully @Helium10 soon!).
2️⃣ Create focused products. Less is more.
3️⃣ Publish.
4⃣ Market.
5⃣ Repeat.
One day it will be over 💀 … and you’ll regret not acting on the video above … I hope this wakes someone up this morning … 2025 has to be your year … it has to be ❤️❤️❤️

@keshavchan That's a great way to look at it. But also, if someone wants to do their thing and that means the same thing for years and years, I think that's perfectly acceptable, too.
This blog got me thinking about publishing again but taking it from a different perspective.

I LOVE creating pen names. Ways I do this:
- combine 2 names of friends / family
- combine 2 names or words into 1 made up name
- consult Chat GPT for advice
- I DON'T use any famous names
When I find something, I look on Amazon and Google to make sure it's not taken.
Starting work late today. Time for a coffee shop work session to get focused.
It's times like these where I wish I had some paid personal time. Oh well, at least my income is semi-passive.
