If something protects in a particular situation then yes, wear it forever.

If there is any place on this earth where it would be both sensible and feasible to mask forever, it is in fact hospitals (and most other health care settings).

It's been like this since the beginning of protest. You don't get everyone to agree on belief systems, you get them to agree on a set of moderate demands. That's how you get people to protest with you. It's impossible to find someone who agrees with EVERYTHING you believe.

But it's not fair to expect a bunch of ppl to agree on solutions to OTW's racism problem. The idea that everyone that a protest mentions has to have flat cardboard cutout beliefs that match the protest's intent is simply not fair to anyone involved.

@renay Agreed, it is well past time to see some receipts here. If the behavior is as widespread as some claim, there ought to be more evidence than vague rumors and third-hand accounts.

I cannot stress enough that while corporate pride is tedious, it is a tedium that has consistently announced our existence and humanity to often violent bigots. I was in college when much of the public position was that we were so repugnant that no, stores wouldn’t take our money

@fleurdeliser Yep. Very short-sighted decision IMO. If the issue is that 3rd party app users don’t see ads, fine; put some ads in the feed, I’ll live with that. What I care about is the functionality.
