On this day in 1990, Girija Tickoo, a Kashmiri Pandit woman, was subjected to one of the most horrific acts of brutality.

She was gang-r@p€d, tortured, and brutally murdered cut into two with a carpenter’s saw while still alive. The most chilling part? Many of the perpetrators were her own neighbours—some she had considered family.

Her body, once full of life and promise, was found in a state beyond recognition.

Shibu Soren took a 50 lac bribe to save the Congress govt. The case was so open & shut that a judge even ordered his bribe to be taxed. But the Supreme Court let him off as bribes came under Parliamentary privilege.

During Annual Day programme of Kids World English School in Partur, Jalna — school children danced on the Pakistani song of "Gustakh Nabi Ki Ek Saza..." with dummy swords.

In the background, they had celebrated with photo of Pakistani terrorist Mumtaz Qadri, who had assassinated Pakistan's Punjab Governor — as he had spoken in defence of a Christian woman Asia Bibi, accused of blasphemy.

This school claims to be affiliated with CBSE board ( @cbseindia29), and allegedly is promoting extremist ideology amongst children.

While Europe was under ice, someone in Ratnagiri carved a 14-metre map of India.

It's an elephant. Head west to the Konkan, tail east.

Inside it: a tiger in the east, a langur in the north, a boar in Madhya Pradesh, a pangolin in the south. Each animal where it actually lives.

Seven mountains. The Mahabharata also names seven. It was carved 10,000 years before the Mahabharata.

The map's width-to-height ratio is 1.167. Modern India is 1.04. Doesn't match.

Because they weren't mapping modern India.

Reverse-solve 1.167 against the coastline of 12,000 BCE — when the sea was 120m lower and the Sunda Shelf was dry land — and the eastern edge lands at ~100.9°E.

The eastern shore of the Malay Peninsula. The exact limit of the world you could walk to from India at the time.

A decorative outline doesn't do that. A map does.

The oldest known map is supposed to be Çatalhöyük, ~6,200 BCE. This predates it by 6,000 years.

It's on an open plateau. People play cricket near these carvings. The monsoon is erasing it.

This is the condition of the Punjab mansion of Hindu businessman Todar Mal who paid 7,800 gold coins and bought 4 yards of land from the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb to bury the bodies of the 2 young sons and mother of Guru Gobind Singh on December 13, 1705.

The Mughal faujdar Wazir Khan had ordered the two young children be bricked alive as they refused to accept Islam. When they died, their grandmother died of shock

The Mughals did not want to allow the cremation to humiliate the martyrs. They stipulated that the buyer can take only as much space as he could cover with give gold coins for the land. All the Sikh chiefs just stood helplessly

That's when Todar Mal produced the coins and bought the piece of land, and cremated the three bodies.

This is biggest irony of life, India is only country where its true heritage is hidden from next generation and falsehood Is taught.

- The Parsi woman did not convert to Islam after the marriage and continued to practice her original faith. Fast forward to present time, she was 55 years old and died after brief illness.

- When her muslim husband went to members of Parsi Community and asked them to perform her final rites as per Zoroastrian traditions, they refused because of inter faith marriage.

- When the husband approached the members of his own muslim community to bury his wife as per Islam, they also refused.

- Her husband approached Vishwa Hindu Parishad and they did funeral of this woman as per Hindu rites who was neither Hindu by birth nor Hindu by marriage. They did not think twice and only felt proud of what they were doing.

- Isn't it shameful that organisations like VHP and Bajrang Dal are compared to terrorist groups by liberals and muslims of this country???
