And don’t forget to pray for your country. Don’t leave that to someone else, they are also leaving it to someone else and someone else might be too bitter or too preoccupied to remember that prayer changes things. Do not give up. Pray, wherever and whoever you are. It is not in vain. Please pray. This is not business as usual.
Sometimes the people who had access to you don't realise how unreachable you are to everyone else, until they become everyone else. The easiest person to take for granted is the one who kept showing up.

"I got to know my biological father when I was 30. No one has ever asked for a DNA test in my family, and we remain a strong family."
Stories like this remind us that DNA is only one part of a much bigger conversation.
👨👦What defines a father?
👨👩👧👦What defines a family?
🩸What happens when truth arrives late?
Tomorrow at 7 AM EAT, we explore it all.

My elder and chairman @AKasingye , I receive your generous words with deep gratitude and even deeper humility.
If indeed any home has been preserved, any father awakened to his duty, any son redirected towards purpose, or any family dispute resolved through these conversations, then the glory belongs not to the messenger but to the message.
I remain a student in the school of life, committed to serving where I can, while I can.
Thank you for your kindness. Let us continue the work, for a family remains the foundation upon which our nations stand.
Asante sana.
This man, has carried the Men’s agenda flag so high for the last 4 years. Started Muntu Wa Wansi educational & sensitization programs on social media, that have shaped men into real men. He has also empowered them about their rights & responsibilities. Does he even know the families he has protected & family feuds prevented as a result? He’s so humble & doesn’t even brag about it as long as he’s served above self. I hope this post will trigger a national award soon. I celebrate you @kyamageroandrew
Last time I interviewed Lukwago on #NBSFaceOff a couple of months ago, he didn’t look well. He had difficulty in breathing and the interview took longer than expected because we stopped thrice to give him a break to catch his breath. His health has not been well for a while now.
There are so many things tolerable here that are just plain bad manners.
I don’t need an essay to tell bad manners.
They keep being reinforced by the notion that they are; contrarian, limitless freedom and/or awards of social acclaim.
Just mpisa mbi bambi!
The White House has confirmed that the U.S. is setting up a health facility in Kenya to receive Americans who are exposed to the Ebola virus while in regions affected by the ongoing outbreak. https://t.co/NvN3dPitC3
The Office of the Prime Minister is hiring but only hand delivered hard copies will be accepted.
Nope, this is not an old advert from 1982. It is from 2026 and a government that has an e-government portal which we pay for with our tax money wants applicants from Nakapiripirit to print out hard copies of their CVs and bring them to Kampala by Bus, in 2026😳.
What about Ugandans living abroad or those studying abroad? Well, I guess they can get a flight to bring their applications and then go back.
Just for reference, even South Sudan and Somalia have online job application portals. And these are countries that literally depend on Uganda to exist.
@OPMUganda what is this? Kale, if you don’t have IT people at OPM, a google form is literally free of charge. Mutuswaza man.
Mandatory Ebola screenings have expanded to Atlanta's International Airport.
Travelers arriving from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and South Sudan are now required to undergo temperature checks and complete a health questionnaire after landing in Atlanta.
If travelers pass the screening, they are cleared to leave the airport but will still be monitored for 21 days by a state health department at their final destination.
This move comes as the current Ebola outbreak overseas has caused at least 220 deaths around the world.
