Nigeria as a country has all sorts of natural resources scattered all over the country or regions.
Including human resources.
And each resource is useful in modern times.
Every region should be allowed to harness its resources and use it to improve the lives of its citizens or inhabitants.
We are operating a parasitic relationship, instead of a symbiotic relationship.
A relationship where one region feels cheated and another region feels entitled.
We cannot continue this way if we must live as a nation of diverse faith, tribe, culture and traditions.
The current system that we are practicing is a forced marriage where there are no mutual benefits.
Nigeria, due to its uniqueness, should operate as a partnership, rather than an unhealthy rivalry.
I repeat, if President Tinubu can effect this change in our constitution through the national assembly, he would have done well for the country.
He needs the political will and support, if he has this on his renewed hope agenda.
We are tired.
And we want to be holding the right persons accountable for our woes or prosperity.
We must go back to true federalism.
A system where there is equity and not nepotism, tribal or religious bigotry.
You cannot force any tribe to love each other.
You cannot force people of different faiths to love each other.
But we can respect each other as humans.
However, religious, tribal or regional sentiments will always come to play, no matter what we say or do.
So, Nigeria and Nigerians should quit this hypocrisy and faux marriage and face the reality.
When you know that there is no one coming to save you, you'd be forced to sit up and save yourself.
End.
