Pick a challenge too big for who you are now.
That's how people change. A challenge above your level drags the new version of you out.
It will suck. You'll fail constantly. You'll feel like a fraud for months. Your old self will beg you to stay the same.
But if you can pull this off, 10-20 times throughout your life, you will blow past everyone else.
The two best teachers in life are
1. Hitting rock bottom
2. Putting in your 1000 hours
People avoid doing 2, so they hit 1 and then are ultimately forced to do 2, to then save themselves.
I’ve found that the most important thing for psychological well being is to trust that God is good and has your best interest at heart, and to let the remaining chips fall where they may
Robert Greene was right when he said:
“Eventually, the time that was not spent on learning skills will catch up with you, and the fall will be painful.”
Your life will significantly improve once you entirely give up wishful thinking. And it’s so fucking addictive that you won’t even realize how much of your life you’ve built around the possibility that reality might suddenly become what you wish it were.
The real purpose of wealth is to become a kid again. To have the freedom to follow your curiosity and do whatever the fuck you want, whenever you want.
Napoleon said that all success and wealth first starts in your mind:
"I meditate a great deal. If I seem always equal to the occasion, ready to face what comes, it is because I have thought the matter over a long time before undertaking it. I have anticipated whatever might happen. It is no genius which suddenly reveals to me what I ought to do or say in any unlooked-for circumstance, but my own reflection, my own meditation."
"Once I have made up my mind, everything is forgotten except what leads to success."
"See the effect of imagination? How powerful is its influence! Here are people who do not know me, who have never seen me; they have only heard me spoken of; and what do they not feel! What would they not do to serve me! And the same caprice is to be found in all countries, in all ages, and in both sexes! This is fanaticism! Yes, imagination rules the world."
your brain will never believe you are capable of doing hard and great things until you repeatedly do hard things and survive the hard outcomes. this is how you train your brain and how neuroplasticity works.
Study how to learn.
Study how to read a book correctly.
Read books on how to learn.
Read books on how to read a book correctly.
Schools tricked you into reading full books or making notes to learn 99% of the time but I believe once you learn how to learn, read and even think CORRECTLY then your life enjoyment improves and your life transforms dramatically because you become less dependent on the system and more sovereign.
your brain has no limits, your intelligence has no ceiling, and your potential is only as far as you're willing to push the boundaries of what you believe is possible.
all forms of greatness are forged through repetition, not potential. Potential is negligible beside REPETITION. You can become the best at what you do by practicing your craft with greater consistency and volume than anyone else. Whoever you are.
The exhaustion you feel during early discipline is neuroplasticity in motion, because the brain burns significantly more energy building new pathways than maintaining old ones, and what feels like resistance is often just the cost of becoming mentally stronger.
Used to get mad when mom posted the ugliest pics of me, but now that I'm older, l realized that she was always choosing the ones I looked the happiest in.

Sleep should be one of the last things you sacrifice.
Only sacrifice it for things that are genuinely worth it rare experiences, meaningful moments, or memories you’ll be glad you made.
Because no bad meal or shitty day of eating will make you feel as bad as one night of absolutely terrible sleep.
🚨 Lamine Yamal: “I don't play football for money, I play because I like it!”.
“Players who are obsessed with goals or assists do not enjoy”, told The Guardian.
“I play for fun, to dribble, to play one touch, two, to make a teammate who has not scored, score, for happiness”.
