You will have the most peaceful sleep, if you keep all your money in FDs.

- No volatility.
- Close to 0 risk.
- Easy life.

But, over a long-term: you will lose a significant chunk of wealth.

- You make 7%
- Pay 30% tax
- INR depreciates 3-4% a year.

You are left with close to nothing.

So this argument: "oh, invest in things that let you sleep peacefully" is idiotic.

Not taking enough risks is the biggest risk the world right now.
