Major cheat code for life: Master the art of the fresh start. From a bad morning. From a bad interaction. From a missed workout. From a poor decision. The goal isn't to avoid the fall. It's to shorten the time between the fall and the reset. Fast recovery compounds.
I’ve shifted my priorities from climbing to wealth building. I don’t care about titles anymore, I care about industry stability, remote work that’s flexible enough to accommodate my life, and a salary that will afford me residencies abroad.
The ambition didn’t disappear, but where it’s placed did.
Mythos / Fable is unbelievable.
Was on a customer call today and had Claude transcribing in the background.
As they were telling me about the features they wish their current software had, Claude was building the features in real time.
By the end of the call I was able to show a fully working product, with the exact workflow they mentioned 15 minutes earlier.
Autonomous looped building triggered from a customer call. 🤯
Kanya King - who founded the Mobo Awards which celebrate Black British music - has died at the age of 57.
Her family said it followed a "courageous and characteristically determined battle" with colon cancer.
In a statement - they said the creation of the Mobo awards was an "act of cultural justice" which had demonstrated the power of Black music to a world which had too often chosen not to see it.
AI will make it extremely easy for African founders to build.
The hardest part, and the one thing I really want more people to work on, will be distribution. Go out and find customers, get money, prove that whatever you're building is actually worth building, before going to raise VC money.
You cannot:
Work full time, raise children, keep a spotless home, show up fully in your marriage, maintain friendships, stay fit, build wealth, read books, pursue hobbies, serve only home cooked meals, answer every email, and still make the 3:30 school pickup.
That standard was created to keep you exhausted and blaming yourself. Let it go.
"Hardship does not come to bury a man. It comes to measure him." - Epictetus
The world is filled with those who are buried.
The only way forward is through...
Be proudly measured by your Grit.
Bold actions, pushing forward, never stopping.
Unpopular Opinion: it’s not linked to age, it is in fact value exchange and as LONG as you are getting what you need back, vast majority will give anything and everything.
Maybe it’s the Gen-Z in me, but i fully don’t care about privacy. I am post-privacy. I am giving OpenAI access to all of my finances, all of my health data, everything, I don’t care anymore
If you’re ambitious I’d highly recommend working in an organization or a team where people have your similar sense of urgency or you will slowly go insane
