@seyikanbai She’s right. Overmixing can kill the emotion that made the record special in the first place.
The engineer’s job is to enhance the feeling, not polish it out of the song
Dear Lord,
Bless me with creativity and solutions. Provide and protect everyone who deserves my services and offers. Teach and move them to understand that a part of their provisions are mine in exchange for the good values I bring. Amen.

“My 18-room mansion has made me lose weight, even though I’m always at the construction site. I should have just built a three-bedroom flat. I regret building this mansion, it was because of my ex-girlfriend, Chinasa, that I went this far.”

BANDI, la première série Netflix en Martinique, par le créateur du Bureau des Légendes, c’est dispo.
If you’ve to beg, ask or implore an Artiste you featured on a song before they join you to promote or push the song, it is either;
1. they don’t think the song is good.
2. They think you lack the leverage or resources to give the song good motion.
3. They think collaborating with you has little or no short - long term value or impact on them and their career.
4. They only did it for the money you had pay to facilitate the collaboration.
5. They don’t give a fuck about you and your success.
When you lack value or leverage, collaborating with other artistes will be a struggle.
So don’t just be good, be valuable.
music business ain’t for the weak. you think you’re cool with people in the industry until it’s time to sign contracts and clear records. then you see how them people feel about you

@Obalurge@Iamsynord@AbdulmaleekIx Exactly. If you're sure, enlist what you believe your genre to be so others who fall under same can find their path Tru what you've started.
Everybody shouting “use the right genre” like that’s the fix. But it's actually not.
People tag Afrobeats because that’s where the attention is.
But here’s the truth;
If your music really hits, the algorithm will place it.
You’re not hidden because of metadata.
You’re hidden because you sound like everyone else.
Genre is for filing.
Identity is what breaks you out.
Fix your sound before your tags.
Most people want the spotlight.
Few respect the preparation that earns it.
Every masterpiece you admire started with something ugly; be it a rough sketch, a blank wall, a silent studio.
Primer before paint.
Practice before performance.
Silence before sound.
If you skip the foundation, don’t be surprised when everything cracks under pressure.
This morning, don’t chase applause.
Build something that can withstand it.
