In a swift joint operation, the IndianNavy, @IndiaCoastGuard, and others rescued 18 of 22 crew from Singapore-flagged MV Wan Hai 503 after a container explosion caused a major fire. Alert received at @IFC_IOR at 0930 hrs on 09 Jun 25; INS Surat and a Dornier were deployed. The injured received first aid, and the vessel is headed to New Mangalore.

BIG NEWS 🚨 Explosion reported on Singapore-flagged ship off Kerala coast.

Following the report, the Indian Navy swiftly diverted INS Surat to the site to offer immediate assistance.

Indian Coast Guard and Navy started the rescue operations.

So far, 18 out of 22 crew members rescued by coordinated efforts of the Brave Indian Navy and Coast Guard.
