Shameful news coming from Masaka where Court has denied the bail applications of comrades Eddie Mutwe, Archileo Kivumbi, Mugumya Gaddafi and Wakabi Smart – all members of our security team. The excuse? That the charges they face are too serious to allow them regain their freedom! Like countless other political prisoners, these comrades stand falsely accused of laughable offences including aggravated robbery and assault that they allegedly committed during a burial I attended in May 2024. The four are accused, ridiculously, of having stolen a phone and a sweater using knives and sticks!
The script is familiar. We saw it in the ruling on Dr. Kizza Besigye's bail application. We saw it most recently in Yasin Machete's. On each of these ocassions, the Courts denied bail on the pretext that the comrades are going to be subjected to a speedy trial. Now, this time in Masaka, the same tired lie is being repeated. Owing to recent social media posts by dictator Museveni’s son, we believe that all these rulings have been choreographed to ensure that none of the comrades regain their freedom under any circumstances, and no matter what the law says.
Eddie Mutwe and group are not and have never been criminals. Like others, they are just political prisoners jailed for nothing else but their loyalty to the struggle for justice and freedom. We demand for their immediate release and call upon all Ugandans at home and abroad to raise their voices against this blatant abuse and weaponisation of the law to settle political scores. Like I have repeatedly said, and like history has always shown, no amount of persecution will stop a people determined to be free! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda
@SimonKaggwaNjal you are officially threatened because Mzee has taken over the show, jealousy is a witch, you can continue trying, your time to shine may be coming soon
@mugishamuntu So they think the funding is done by Museveni instead of the government, which funding is actually constitutional, this is how low the ruling party has reduced the people of Uganda , even the ones who like understanding lack rational reasoning 🥲
@mugishamuntu You are Right General , people have failed to u destined that political parties are an establishment of democracy and the funding is guaranteed by law to support democratic processes , the only difference is that people perceive government as Museveni in Uganda or the NRM ,
This section of the road connects Rubanda district through Kerere with Kanungu district, for the last 35 years I have seen it break and paralyze traffic each year 🥲for at least three months between April and June or October and December, its Funny because it seems normal 🤮
@SamsonMKasumba Car manufacturers are business men , they produce for specific markets, we call this specialization, this needs a business mind to understand how it works, more so I have seen Toyotas that beat a whole lot of other brands in many ways , your reasoning is impartial
@Athan_Tukundane@SsemujjuNganda1 Which service apart from a prison, collecting taxes , and paying a bunch of un productive so called district staffs and finally more MPs , which adds a burden to the already corrupt legislature 🤮
@SamsonMKasumba You reason like a naive fool, or you are hust a regime boot leaker, you have no sense of business and that is why you have not grown as much in your career, at your level you should understand that competition breeds quality service at low rates ,
His passing is hugely terrifying, and we are exceedingly humbled to have been able to listen to his captivating and critical interviews about matters dear to all of us. May his legacy continue to shine through Africa “Get not bitter, Shaka.”
RIP #ShakaSali

The shocking allegations surrounding Mezo Noir Kampala have taken a tragic turn following reports that Martha, an ISBAT University fresh graduate who was allegedly drugged at the popular nightclub, has passed away. Martha reportedly collapsed after consuming alcohol under suspicious circumstances at Mezo Noir. Sources who have reviewed surveillance footage say she was last seen entering the club’s office with a man identified as Eddy.
Moments later, witnesses claim, Eddy emerged from the office in a panic and returned with other individuals. It is alleged that they later used the club’s exit door to rush Martha to the hospital, where she was ultimately pronounced dead.
Police have since arrested several individuals in connection with the case, as investigations into the shocking incident intensify. Authorities have yet to release an official statement, but sources indicate that a postmortem examination is scheduled for tomorrow to determine the exact cause of death.
Mezo Noir, which had recently announced a temporary closure due to “unforeseen circumstances,” is now under heavy scrutiny.
The Late Martha is a daughter to Seth Murari a Presidential Adviser on Sports. Drugging unsuspecting victims is rampant in Ugandan clubs. Martha's unfortunate death has exposed this vice and may help burst the racket behind these heinous acts.
@BalaamAteenyiDr @francis_isano@NUP_Ug @BalaamAteenyiDr this type of politicking should be for kids, at your level, you should be reasoning out things like a sensible human being, but I can see a man trying to defend his appointment and continue to propagate the same agenda that has kept Uganda behind the world
