Listening to a Raag is like reading a novel. It is elaborate, it covers a wide ground with incredible depth and evokes many emotions in the listener. Listening to a song is like reading a short story. It is enjoyable, quick, and sometimes manages to evoke an emotion—no guarantee.
I was introduced to Shanta Pillai by a very good friend. A single album published in YouTube 5 years ago. The lyrics and music both are mesmerising.
