#ScreenshotSaturday My horror game Trail of the Damned is coming along! Just trying to make everything as creepy as possible. I'll be working on some things today, but here's an update.
Daily Practice - 04/13 🎨✏
Redrew this so many times I thought I was going to wear through the paper, but she looks forgiving... 👀🙏

Crying expression practice. 😭
Went back to Procreate for the first time in a bit. Getting more confident with visual novel-style sprite work.

Art Practice 🎨 - 01/14/25
Today was great. I worked on some looks and styles that I haven't played with and made something that feels like it could actually work as game art.
When I started trying to improve, this was always my goal. I'm happy to be a step closer. 🙏😋

Adding a digital aspect to my workflow allowed me to push my results and this piece is the first one to me that feels like it could be from Catherine or another Soejima-style game.
I hope I can keep it up and continue to learn from everything else.
@mikeBithell I asked you a while back about interactive fiction and word count on Subsurface Circular. For the recent Brackeys Jam I got to try to use some of what I learned from your games. Thanks for the info/inspiration.

@DragnixMod Hey Shaun, not sure if you ever play just random stuff, but I love your streams and your YT work and I made this for the Brackeys Jam recently. Thought you might find it interesting at least: https://t.co/6fUJ6cl2P8
A bit late for #ScreenshotSaturday, but my Brackeys Jam game "Untangled" is looking for a few more ratings so we can rank.
The free browser game has been compared to Night in the Woods and Undertale so if that gives the right vibe, please check it out!

@GameDevTV Thanks for always making space. Here's an update on my game Trail of the Damned! A fantasy horror journey through a mysterious and deadly hellscape on the path to Salvation. #ScreenshotSaturday
