"If you are unhappy, start with the body. Nourish it. Rest it. Move it. If you are uninspired, start with the mind. Excite it. Expose it. Open it. If you are unmotivated, start withthe heart. Find your why. Do something that matters. Be of service.” ~Vex King
“Mindfulness is simply being aware of what is happening right now without wishing it were different; enjoying the pleasant without holding on when it changes (which it will); being with the unpleasant without fearing it will always be this way (which it won’t).” ~James Baraz

Generosity that supports the weak, consoles the afflicted, relieves suffering and restores dignity to those stripped of it, is a condition for a fully human life. #WorldDayOfThePoor

While helping clean up Birmingham today. I met a man on the work site with no mask. I offered him one. To which he said, “I’m good young blood. I got my jacket on. The only way Corona can get ya is through the skin.”
This man about to spend all summer. In Alabama. In a jacket.
