@TheAtlantic says US chip policy weakens America. It doesn’t. Export bans didn’t stop AI. They pushed it into decentralised systems.
Allowing N-1 chip exports pulls activity back into something governments can control. Selling older tech is soft power, not surrender.
38% of Gen Z tech workers think AI could replace them.
37% say their jobs have already been redefined.
The internship became automation. The analyst became ChatGPT. The training period became a prompt.
Gen Z isn’t paranoid about AI. They’re paying attention.
There are 3 types of nomads:
No kids: Asia & LatAm. Exotic, cheap, easy visas, English everywhere.
With kids: School & stability rule — Spain, Portugal, Georgia. Emirates if you’re stacked.
Americans are welcome everywhere because they outspend everyone.
America doesn’t want to work in tech. Nobody’s googling "how to code in Python" or "become a prompt whisperer." The top search? "How to become a notary." 38K people a month. That’s quiet panic. Maybe the new American dream is simple: Find work AI can’t touch.
Your job is to manage the slider between “work as just KPIs” and “work as something bigger.”
Get it wrong, and you’ll lose people—no matter what their LinkedIn birth year says.
At the end of 2024, I made five predictions for 2025. Six months in, turns out I wasn’t completely off.
So what’s next?
– Less noise, more clarity.
– Leaders will stop pretending to be oracles.
– Products will get more human, less polished.
– Speak like people, not pitch decks
AI is writing résumés designed to outwit AI filters. Hiring has become about machines fooling machines.
That’s not progress. That’s laziness dressed as efficiency.

@Workday is being sued for algorithmic bias.
When building an algorithm, it is easy to say, “It’s just data, the model decided.”
I used to say it, too. And I was wrong.
Train a model on biased historical data, and you amplify that.
Bias doesn’t need malice — only negligence.
AI-powered hiring failures:
-Explaining gaps in a CV
-Seeing potential beyond job titles
-Understanding why someone wants a part-time job
One of my best hires was a designer with plenty of gaps, because she took time off to care for family. No algorithm would have caught that.
Hiring used to mean headcount. Now it means outcomes. AI is changing the equation.
@TIME : “AI will devastate work — if we let it.”
Your edge: hire intentionally. Build human-first teams. Think in outcomes, not titles.
And, as @grivlin said, master AI before it masters you.
AI isn’t replacing jobs. It’s replacing mediocrity.
As @aneesh_raman said in @BusinessInsider , your “story of self” is now a competitive edge.
AI drafts. Humans decide.
Your role as a leader?
Know when to use AI, or not.
Where have you skipped AI — and been glad you did?
My first remote onboarding: a doc + a “good luck” Slack.
No context = no confidence.
Onboarding is not a checklist. It’s a signal.
It says:
- We’re ready
- We care
- We want you to win
How are you making onboarding intentional and personalized?
I didn’t always believe in flexible work. Early on, I thought success meant working full-time. Then I moved to a new country, started from scratch — and saw how broken that model was.
That shift in perspective led me to build Intch, and to champion better opportunities for all.
Fill in the blank: The best advice I ever got for managing remote teams is __________
I’ll go first:
"Clarity beats frequency. Don’t confuse micromanagement with alignment."
Your turn - what piece of advice became a game-changer for your business?
The 9-to-5 isn’t dying because people want to work less, but because top #talent wants to #work better.
Professionals want autonomy and purpose, SMBs want expertise on-demand, and both are frustrated by outdated hiring systems.
At @be_intch , we’re helping build what comes next.
Staying on top of work #trends is a job in itself.
I pulled together 5 must-read #articles on the future of hiring, flexibility, and leadership — from @Forbes, @FastCompany, @wef, and more.

#AI isn’t stealing jobs, just replacing junior-level tasks. Real work needs judgment, responsibility & truth. We’re building a smarter way. Stay tuned. #futureofwork#AI#Intch
