For Woman Up Wednesday, we're highlighting Women in Civil Engineering like Charlene Menal.

Charlene Menal is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer with a specialization in Structural Engineering.

In her projects, Charlene gives priority to ensuring that quality of structural materials is not sacrificed and that best construction practices are adhered to; thereby ensuring that structures are sound and safe for public & private use.

This week, our highlight for Woman Up Wednesday is Alberta Henry.

Not only is Alberta talented in the lab (she holds a BSc in Chemistry and is a Chemistry lecturer at SALCC), She's talented behind a camera too.

Known for her amazing portrait photography, Alberta makes something so simple look so elegant and graceful. She started off with a simple point and shoot camera and a knack for photographing babies. Now she's doing a whole lot more, and she's great at it!

Make allowance in the day for your child to socialise with friends via video call - this gives them a much needed break while allowing you to be productive.
