There is a group of people, with this guy being one of them, who steal huge amounts of money from people by pretending to sell goods at cheap prices.

This is how they do it,They post furniture or electronics online at significantly lower prices. For example, if a piece of furniture costs KSh 100,000, they post it for KSh 70,000.

When you contact them, they will also contact a legitimate seller of the same product and ask them to deliver it to you. When the delivery person arrives, they trick you into sending the money to them.

When it is time for the delivery person to confirm the number you sent the money to, he realises that it is not the number of the original seller. Hapo unakuwa umeoshwa clean. There is nothing you can do. The delivery person will leave with the goods,utawachanishwa hapo.

Tell your friends about this to help prevent them from becoming victims.

So how do 37 human beings die overnight while in NSCDC custody in Nigeria?

Thirty-seven.

Not one. Not two. Thirty-seven people.

They were arrested, detained and placed under the control of the state.

Once government takes someone's liberty away, government assumes a duty to protect their lives and dignity.

Now we are being told the cause of death is still unknown.

Disease has been suggested.

Survivors are alleging suffocation in an overcrowded, poorly ventilated cell.

Investigations and autopsies are supposed to establish what actually happened.

But let's be clear about one thing: 37 people dying in government custody is not an ordinary administrative incident.

It demands a forensic, transparent and independent investigation.

Were they overcrowded?

Were they denied medical attention?

Was there adequate ventilation?

Were they tortured or mistreated?

Were hazardous chemicals involved?

Who knew the condition of that cell, and when?

And most importantly, who is responsible?

Nigeria cannot normalise mass deaths in state custody.

If the investigation establishes negligence, abuse or deliberate wrongdoing, accountability must follow.

A government cannot take away your freedom and then lose responsibility for your life.

Thirty-seven deaths in custody is a national emergency.
