Quite possibly orchestrated but I've thought for a long time that there should be fewer politician vs politician debates and more politician vs expert / interest group debates...
@apegames@bluesky I see your question was about x, not BlueSky.
X is increasingly a home if and representative of behaviours and values I don't really want to associate with.
@apegames@bluesky I'm mostly on BlueSky and I find it to be a better community. I think I'm getting close to being off Twitter/x completely, there are few of the main people I follow that are not on BlueSky.
@LewSOS Tbf, this does sound like a legitimate reason for immigration action.
I don't know why they can't just refuse entry, but trying to go back to work without a green card sounds wrong. Even if you do have "some" documents
@LewSOS Act justice spokesman Todd Stephenson with the quiet bit etc. saying it was “outrageous” that someone “completely disengaged and lazy can rock up to the voting booth, get registered there and then, and then vote to tax other people’s money away”.
@LewSOS Yeah, I reckon that the likes of Jago already get that structural advantage, but when Old Mate down the road gets found Not guilty the charge is still the first thing you find when you google him
@snarky_mk@LewSOS I accept that it can bring forward other victims and that is a good thing.
But personally I'd prefer other investigative methods and more weight to innocent until proven guilty.
@LewSOS I'm not talking about this case, that was just the prompt.
In all/most/many cases the accusation sticks, which undermines innocent until proven guilty.
@VFTLpodcast@dannykellywords@JackPittBrooke@JamesTMaw Is Spurs' player spending reasonable?
If we (I) accept that it is a £5bn business and needs to make a return, are their expenses appropriate?
And what is the league table ceiling for a club being run as a business (hopefully higher in a PSR league)
