अप्रैल 2022 में खरगोन मे�� रामनवमी जुलूस के दौरान हिंसा भड़कने के अगले ही दिन जिला प्रशासन ने बुलडोजर कार्रवाई करते हुए शहर के पाँच मुस्लिम बहुल इलाकों में 16 मकानों और 29 दुकानों को ध्वस्त कर दिया था।

तत्कालीन मध्य प्रदेश के गृह मंत्री नरोत्तम मिश्रा ने कहा था-"जिस घर से पत्थर आए हैं, उस घर को ही पत्थरों का ढेर बनाएंगे।"

जुलाई 2026 में मध्य प्रदेश के सत्र न्यायालय ने 2022 की रामनवमी हिंसा के मामले में आरोपी सभी 11 मुस्लिम पुरुषों को बरी कर दिया। अदालत ने कहा कि उनके खिलाफ न तो कोई विश्वसनीय साक्ष्य था, न कोई गवाह और न ही कोई विधिसम्मत जांच की गई थी।

अदालत द्वारा उन्हें निर्दोष करार दिए जाने के ब���वजूद, नरोत्तम मिश्रा के शब्दों में भाजपा का "बुलडोजर न्याय" तो वर्षों पहले ही दे दिया गया था।

भाजपा शासित राज्यों में बुलडोजर कार्रवाइयों का निशाना लगातार मुस्लिम समुदाय को बनाया गया है। इसमें धार्मिक स्थलों, शैक्षणिक संस्थानों और घरों तक को निशाना बनाया गया।

यह कानून के शासन और संविधान, दोनों का घोर अपमान है। भाजपा सरकार उन सभी लोगों को जवाब दे, जिनके घर उसने ध्वस्त किए। उन्हें उचित मुआवजा दिया जाए और इस कार्रवाई के लिए जिम्मेदार अधिकारियों की जवाबदेही भी तय की जाए।
