Valid ticket holders with real tickets were turned away for no sensible reason other than jobsworths/promoters wanting to make a point by causing suffering to consumers. That is their right… but that is also what is “heartbreaking”.

Artists should have some control but not at the expense of giving ALL consumer types choice. Consumers must have knowledge to make informed decisions, not be duped with drip-feeding/fixed pricing

There are multiple routes/airlines/airports competing for custom keeping prices in line with supply/demand. Events is a closed shop; removing competition allows for fixed pricing/drip-feeding with zero relation to actual supply/demand

This is incredibly bad from Viagogo, I was the seller Amar refers to. I knew fake tickets were being sold on their site and I provided Viagogo with several messages and 3 documents proving these - and others being sold now - were fake. So far they have just completely ignored it.

@ByRobDavies Or... here's another MUCH quicker way... just go to any event page on StubHub UK and use your eyes to look at what it says at the top in the banner that comes down. Same Taylor Swift example shown here. It's not secret info, anyone can access it without going through it your way.

Again though you keep missing the point - if there are sellers selling tickets they don't have/own, they are the ones breaking laws. It's very simple.

@TicketsClean @ByRobDavies @wrobinson101 Nope, not getting any advice. What I am saying is if those sellers know seat info and are listing without it, they are at fault. Not StubHub or Viagogo. If they are spec selling, they are at fault. If they don't have seat info yet, then it's fine to list like that.

@TicketsClean @ByRobDavies @wrobinson101 I don't know that, I have no idea about Wimbledon tickets or how they work. StubHub also seems to have no seat info for the Gents Final so I'd guess seat info is just not confirmed yet. Again though, you are highlighting issues with the way some traders operate not the platforms.

@TicketsClean @ByRobDavies @wrobinson101 I don't know enough about how Wimbledon debenture tickets are issued as it's not something or an event I've ever dealt with. I know that the LTA issue some tickets on an "allocated on arrival" basis so I would always expect some listings to be without seat info.
