@SerenJLewis@dumpstercommie Or like a lot of kids? My school got new bus routes last year and so many of my middle school students had no idea what their address was. It made figuring out what their new bus was difficult.
I can see that seeming odd, but as a teacher, that seems completely normal to me.
@NWSColumbia I moved away from the midlands in 2019. For the 8 years I lived in Columbia, I remember hearing of two earthquakes and I never felt them.
What’s going on now? I read recently Charleston was the site of the one of the largest earthquakes in US history. Could that happen again?
@TheSpursUpShow “UofSC” drives me nuts. I only graduated seven years ago and that was not at all a term anyone used. Even now I live in another state and I’ll say things like “USC” or “Carolina”… maybe even “South Carolina”, but “UofSC”? It feels like a fraud. It just sounds made up.
@eleanormharte @MackinStyle There’s been a few summers that all I did was watch Big Brother. It’s only 3 days a week for casual fans. Super fans also watch the live feeds which are on like 20 hours a day. 🤣
ADT keeps sending salespeople to my house and then the salesperson asks to step inside my house with the motion that they are about to come in. I really do not like that and it makes me uncomfortable and definitely not at all interested in getting ADT. 😒 @ADT
@backstreetboys My student came in today and was like “Miss do you know what 4/20 is!?” I said “YES! It’s the anniversary of the Backstreet Boys.” She was so disappointed in my answer. 🤪🤣
@kowalskijanpl @polite_berry @szescstopni This led me to Google if this was also an issue in the United States. I remember my mom saying a lot of kids in her town used outhouses in the 70’s.This article from 2021 estimates about half a million Americans do not have indoor plumbing. It’s shocking.

@GianmarcoSoresi I remember one of my students in February 2020 freaking out over coronavirus in China and I trying comforting her and said “it will pass. When I was around you age it was swine flu!” Two years later and I think I owe her an apology but I didn’t know any better.
@UniversalORL I love Universal. And I love Universal’s sense of humor. 😂 I also love that I don’t have to pay extra for my after 4 express pass each time I go to the park.
@BusinessmanLego I definitely never answer my phone for an unrecognized number. I do immediately check to see if they left voicemail though and then return the call if necessary… No message = No answer though.
