@cheshirepolice@cheshirepolice - I’ve been reporting such instances, with supporting pictures, to our local PCSOs for years - absolutely nothing has been done (despite a death on the street). Is this just another public gimmick for me to waste my time trying to get something done??
@standardchester Genius; Pavements will become even more of an assault course for those less able.
Additional charge (up to £70) will result in garden waste going into general waste therefore increasing landfill. Fly tipping will increase costing council and private landowners.
@weezegee Please Cllr Gittins, tell me you understand the irony of your post!? An elected body taking action without consulting the people it will actually impact....sound familiar?? #hypocrite
@weezegee@Transport4North Seriously? This is a joke right?? You haven’t implemented active travel, you sneaked bus lanes in under the guise of active travel and ground one of the major arterial routes into our city to a stand still resulting in alienating thousands of locals in the process!
@weezegee@LGA_Labour@LGAcomms Implementing something that will directly impact other people’s lives without any dialogue or consultation. Oh the irony, maybe now you understand how Chester feel...
@TomEPPayne@DailyMailUK We can only hope that sanity wins out and the council accept the lanes they’ve installed in Chester aren’t working - they’ve created horrendous queues impacting on local residents and visitors alike and at a time when local businesses are really struggling.
@CllrGtBoughton@CWAChead@simonjveardley@cwaclabour@chesterbluemoon Difficult to provide feedback when Cllr’s keep blocking anyone who has anything negative to say from their social media. Happy to take applause when things go well, not so keen to face the truth when it’s not...
@cllrmattbryan@simonjveardley Cllr Bryan - there have been concerns about air quality along that stretch of road for quite some time and clearly, as a local resident I welcome any actions that improve the situation but the bus lanes have had the complete opposite - there are now long queues of idling traffic.
@cllrmattbryan@simonjveardley@CheshireLive@standardchester @CllrKarenShore That was at 08:30 last Friday and was the same when I walked the dog this morning - traffic at a standstill from beyond Neville Drive. Going to be a real deterrent to people coming into our City.
