@eggmar722@TeamFallenGrace ... I may have been very wrong. But as far as I am aware, development on the mod stopped because of issues with Repentogon, which themselves were a result of the Rep+.
With Rep+ coming out in November, I suspect this mod will resume development, if not outright release
@ItsTheTalia Hey Talia! I learnt about your work recently (thank Daszombes for that) and absolutely love Brutal Orchestra and Clown Meat!
One question I have about BO is: what happens when somebody dies in Purgatory? Do they pop up somewhere else? Are they obliterated from existence?
@mossbag69 When I first arrived at Shellwood, I encountered a (presumably fixed) bug where I started sinking in the water.
At first I thought this was an enemy attack (it ocurred just after seeing a Pond Skipper submerging) but after like 10 seconds I said: Wait, that's not meant to happen
@ScrapMechanic With the adittion of so many vehicle parts, will we get new challenges eventually?
(Also, thrusters suck in survival. They eat up fuel like crazy, are only useful for water traversal, and aren't even THAT powerful in the first place)
@38Omegaalpha@ScrapMechanic I tried doing that, and after two ingame days, it still didn't work. The safest and quickest method is still to exit and reenter the game.
And waiting or not, the fact is there is a pretty important bug that literally prevents progress when it occurs.
@ScrapMechanic Also, please make an option to reenable the thirst and hunger bars, or make it so they are a feature of normal difficulty but not in easy mode.
And for the love of god, please add some haybot variants to the overworld. They are the most common enemy and always the exact same.
@ScrapMechanic Raids are buggy. Sometimes, a raid doesn't occur when it should, locking you away from harvesting or sowing new seeds. The only solution I've found is exiting and reentering the game until the raid finally triggers and those locks are removed
Pretty good game otherwise
@ScrapMechanic Why were the hunger and thirst bars removed?
I get that they weren't particularly fun, but at least hunger allowed for health regeneration, and gave more meaning to the farming aspect of the game.
Could you make an option in the menu to reenable them?
@ScrapMechanic I understand that adding a presumably paid pack is a good way to generate additional income without blocking important content behind a paywall (DST and CotL do it)
But doing it so early on, specially after the whole TropicWoman fiasco... IDK man, something feels off
@EDyxg23@ScrapMechanic Well, if they left them in the trailer, they will probably happen.
Maybe the version used by content creators doesn't have it (they are not playing the full build from what i know) or maybe there are some other requirements, like having a REALLY big harvest
@edmundmcmillen I am not kidding, I spent nearly 130 hours before realizing sets exist, and even now I have trouble memorizing which set each item is part of, or what the full set does at all
@edmundmcmillen They are about equally slow, but something that would benefit both aspects would be a Set Indicator, such that hovering over an item highlights which other items in your storage are part of its set (and what the set itself does)
@ScrapMechanic That being said, please do work on community updates. like once every 3-4 of months. Lack of communication really damages the game
I'm not saying full on devblog every time (although that would be cool), but just "hi, working on game engine/next chapter/bug fixing/etc" is enough
@ScrapMechanic Wow. I mean, WOW
I DID NOT EXPECT THE UPDATE TO BE THIS BIG
I can definitely see why it took so long to get to this point now, and I can't wait for the update
@edmundmcmillen Another Act. I know it would be a massive undertaking, but I feel like that is already in the plans, so I don't care.
But I would prefer if it had a level of difficulty around that of act 2, because act 1 is very easy, and act 3 can say F*ck you at every turn
@johnsonrasmen@edmundmcmillen According to the wiki, some elite buffs do get neutralized because the effect itself is provided separately. Like speedy, which grants +4 speed but it's not part of the buff itself (this game is really weird)
@edmundmcmillen Maybe good isn't the best term, but still, having a way to remove all bad status effects aside from the cleric's cleanse would be neat, even if it isn't as good.
@edmundmcmillen Well I only learned a few days ago that Bloodletting is meant to be used offensively. I actually thought it was a really bad way of removing status effects from allies.
And honestly, a Necro ability that removes status effects and grants bleed 1 would be kinda good
